Very nice article. One our new home is complete, I can’t wait to become a backyard gardener.

One thing that could be great would be a regular Hornby/Denman gardening column on the website that provides specific month-by-month based pointers.

I’m blown away with the quality of the food and ingredients here!

Kevin, I applaud you for attending. Doing something for positive reasons is never a waste. I do wonder though if it really is a groundswell. Until 50,000 instead of 4,000 feel motivated enough, I fear it’s not quite there yet. Too bad, because the gist of it is good.

Kevin, thanks for representing Hornby… I was certainly with you in spirit.
Protest and creating change is a funny thing. Sometimes in the middle of it all, a person can look around and wonder if what they are doing really makes a difference.
Chaos theory says YES! everthing we do has an effect on the whole complex system… whether our actions get amplified through transmission to others or whether our actions are muted by standard operating procedures of the corporatocracy is a variable we don’t actually get to control. If the time is right (NOW) and the action resonates with others, each individual’s small act of protest or enlightenment can trigger giant cultural shifts.
On with the r-evol-olution! “…let’s get together and love one another right now.”

Good for you Kevin for participating. We do feel a little buffered from global chaos on some fronts) here in Canada. Doesn’t mean it couldn’t all change on a Canadian dime. That’s why it’s so important to participate in the process of VOTING!! (Remember Hornby, we have an Islands Trust election coming up.)
