Alex Lauzon's love for Hornby Island began when she travelled here with family in 1977. She returned repeatedly over the years until coming back to raise her children here in 1997. Always having had an appreciation of the natural world and the plants growing around her, it was a natural progression for Alex to assimilate this love with her growing knowledge of herbalism.
"After working in the hair industry (especially after exposure to colours, perms, etc.), I have had an avid interest in reducing the use of chemicals and synthetic fragrances in my life. I am a stickler for quality and strive for the best in what I make. My practice as an Herbalist, that began in 1991, has morphed into what it is today: a flourishing & growing business."
