Veronica Lynn Designs
Veronica grew up rurally in Ontario, studied in Montreal and finally found the vast snowy fields of her childhood echoed in the oceans and skies of Hornby Island where she has made her home since 1995. Inspired by the magical variation of our diverse ecosystems, she finds Hornby Island affords her the time to be with nature, her young family and to work creatively.
She works in sculptural media in a broad sense, making small beings, clothing, and fiber jewelry. She has developed a mode of adornment that incorporates simple commonplace materials, such as wool, thread and pebbles to create extraordinary wearable clothing and objects.
She recently received The Circle Craft Excellence in Craft Silver Award.
