At a time when small dwellings and tiny houses are finding popularity in the mainstream, the up-coming Earth Art & Architecture workshop will provide yet another means building a small structure on your property.

Shahla and Jay Sherafat will be leading a workshop on their property where they will teach participants how to build a small structure using tubular bags filled with a composite of earth, cement, and sand.

Anyone interested in building a sauna, guest house, art studio or primary home will learn everything they need to know about construction with this new technology using ancient techniques. Jay and Shahla have used this building method to construct their own multi-domed home, which stands at the centre of their property.

For details about this workshop, call Shahla or Jay at 250-335-9182 or check the Events Calendar for further information.
